It really bothers me how regardless of his political message, which is Democratic because he does represent 10th District NYC = Tribeca, Chelsea, West Village, and parts of Brooklyn and at National Political level, that’s a very Liberal constituency,
His opponents pick on the fact that he is under 5 feet tall.
I was a shorty just like he is. I was 4.5 feet tall through 6th grade. I look at my old video pictures and find myself to be cute which is narcissistic of me to say, but I embraced it and now I have the courage to be a voice of empowerment to males who are short in height, and I mean below 5ft3. Well US Rep Jerry Nadler is 4ft10, he has a Columbia U degree, he is very pro-women’s rights, he’s married and has amazing kids,
And he is an open-minded listener who is towards the end of his life at age 70 unlike AOC.
Can’t we find something ...anything nice to attribute to Nadler, can’t we allow him to pursue happiness instead of all the people treating him like he’s subhuman, I am depressed over it.
You're depressed over this? Someone who you will never meet, who chose a career in the most ruthless profession of all, and who has done similar things himself?

It is a ruthless profession you’re right but even so, this guy gets more than anyone’s fair share of getting bullied, and to the point he passes out not feeling well and people wish he collapses. I don’t like it.
Nadler to me is someone who has been through a lot in his 72 years. He came from a working class “dye in the wool” Democrat Brooklyn background and excelled to graduate from Columbia U in 1969, then took part in lots of NYC projects while getting a JD at Fordham.
After that he ran on women’s rights and civil rights protections and had to endure a number of rejections before he finally got a chance.
Once Nadler had his opportunity in Congress, he got >75% of the vote on his own merit every election, in a district in all fairness to him, is among the most diverse in the country, as there’s at least 10% or more of every race Asian, Hispanic, Black, mixture, and white in NY-10 and he can’t win what he has without each and every ethnic group behind him.
How is he a disgrace? For taking the acting role of speaking for the House in applying Meuller’s own suggestion to examine the sitting president after Meuller made the call not Nadler?
