While being so passionate about and championing the cause of illegals?

Well to be specific they seem to have decided that championing the cause of Hispanic illegals will be a better long term political gamble for future voters.

There are many illegals from Africa and the middle east who are coming from ten times worse conditions. Some from countries where bombs rain down on them daily. They are legitimately persecuted due to their ethnicity/tribe/sexual orientation etc, IN addition to being dirt poor.

We don't hear about these people. But there are thousand of them paying even more to the smugglers. Living outdoors under makeshift tents made from cardboard. Literally begging for food in the Shanty town, tent cities.
Somehow, the South American countries have been able to keep them at bay and prevent mass crossing into the United States while caravans with South Americans are able to travel unfettered.

The Democrats have been very vocal about demanding and obtaining benefits for some while ignoring the terrible conditions in their constituencies for years.

6 hours in the emergency rooms.
Failing schools.
Terrible roads.
High crime
Unaffordable health care
And the list goes on.

If the blacks haven't figured out how the democrat party has been treating them for the last 80+ years, they aren't going to get it now either. It's unbelievable that they can't see what's happening (or not happening).

The democrats have proven that they can achieve whatever they want and are passionate about at the moment.

Why are blacks blindly supporting the party while not demanding accountability? The principles of the Republican party may not be for everyone. That doesn't mean voters need to accept the present crop of mediocre lips service of democratic politicians.

How does this specifically pertain to NYC? It would have been great if you were albe to make some sort of correlation in your post.

Thread closed. Feel free to make another thread that is more specific to NYC and your topic, or if you want, re-start this in the Politics forum.
