So I walked by the area and saw that the GAP is suddenly closing - everything is half priced off and must go. I was very surprised so I asked someone if it’s because the rent for retail is so expensive but they answered no. They said that the building was bought so that it can be torn down and a skyscraper built in its place. I wondered if the New York Sports Club will also go with it but didn’t find any information at all online to confirm the rumors. Anyway, thought I’d share. The landscape will definitely change over at Chelsea.
