A lot of complaining from a lot of you on here and no action!
What did Cuomo say about Bloom's absence after the blizzard? I think Cuomo had a point about the importance of mayor being on site. What made Cuomo jab at bdb's absence in particular?
We were probably better off without him here. If he was running the show, the power would still be out.
You can say this about his whole term. The city would have been better off if he did nothing the last five years. At the very least we would still have an extra $850 million in the city's coffers.
So a mayor is not allowed to leave NYC ever? No day off? Nothing? That's a general question, not directly related to this specific scenario.
i believe that cuomo should better address that...
but my point is that bdb is running on a potus wet dream that unfortunately makes him an easy target and draws attacks from his political foe...
BdeB is done. The guy is term limited out in less than two years and is actively seeking another political gig he can milk for money.
He's not ever going to be elected governor of NYS because too many outside NYC don't like nor trust him an inch.
Sam The Eagle could join the rest of term limited out NYC politicians scourging around for a new city office, but after being mayor everything else is a step down.

I don't know which is worse. Him sleeping through everything or him wide awake.
