Amen. The pay is too low and for a newcomer (immigrant) it would seem like a lot of money.

People tip 20% to delivery people. I feel pretty bad because no matter what I order I only give $5. But I feel worse using 1 of my 3 free NY Times articles a month reading that.

Yeah I'm the same way--if there's a delivery fee, then theres your tip. I also take some of the tip away if they don't make the extra effort to come to my door as opposed to having me come down to the lobby.
