Give it up Mr Mayor NYC is in disarray, you have no business running for President.
Gov Cuomo is waiting for your outcome, because he knows it will happen to him too.
The very people of New York State alone will cause your demise.

I agree that Mayor Di Blasio should focus on running NYC rather than running for president.

Opinion:
All Bill will do is keep picking at scabs to reveal another open wound.
Please please don't...................the farther away he stays the better our chances for recovery...........

Anything that helps gets Donald Trump dumped into the 10th layer of Dante's Hell is fine with me.
If DeBlasio can help, than so be it.

He probably thinks he can win.
The tallest US presidential candidate wins 58% of the time. Guess he figured he'd take his shot.
Plus he'll need a new job when his term is over. By running for pres he gets more exposure so that even if he loses he may end up as a commentator on cable news.

He is a walking circus. A clown. He can't even take care of a city let alone a country. His running is a mockery. It just goes to show how Trump will get elected again because these are the types of people the Dems are rolling out. SMH.

If I was Donald Trump, I would challenge Bill de Blasio to a one on one debate to help increase Bill's chances; treating Bill as his opponent would almost certainly raise his profile in the Democrat primary. And de Blasio is among a number of Democrats I think Trump would beat with little problem.

Trump beat 10+viciously strong republican candidates a few years ago. It would be a show if dems put together a team of their candidates to debate trump during the upcoming election and see if they might have a chance to win back the White House... all of them are lame at individual level. Not a single one has a dim chance to succeed in 2020 election, which will be too boring to watch or follow. I am already pondering about the 2024 battle...

He's under no illusion he can win. But he's being term limited out, and no longer has to care about what happens in NYC. There are no state wide races he can win. He needs to position himself for another office. He's using the presidential race to do this. If he makes a good enough showing, hetc could lever that into a cabinet position in the unlikely case that a Democrat wins in 2020.
