Cigarettes kill. A lot of the time the ones sold on street corners illegally are laced.

That is besides the point. If they were laced, Eric wasn’t given his due process. He was killed on the street with an illegal chokehold, not to mention the medical technicians half assed did their jobs.

Eric May have already been known to the cops, but that Pantaloneo cop had a rap history of police brutality himself - including fondling a mans balls while placing him under arrest.

You have to assume that the cigarettes are laced.

But not kill him over them. Cops are to make arrests if they have a reasonable suspicion, but ultimately the courts have to decide what the outcome should be with a fair trial.

This is exactly how the Brett Kavanaugh case came to be: People were making serious accusations until he was given a fair trial and he was then exonerated.

You mention due process for one person then ignore it for another, all in one post. A master stroke of language which most fall for.

Cops do not arrest based on reasonable suspicion.

99% of men his age would not have died from that weak chokehold.

They may suspect a crime being committed and use an excuse like a broken tail light to pull the car over and check for drugs. The court system would not accept a cop saying, “I suspected he was delivering drugs and so I pulled him over” but, “I pulled him over for a broken tail light and found out while checking his license that he was transporting drugs”.

99% of strong men who workout at the gym would not die from a .22 caliber gunshot wound to the leg. Does that give anyone a right to shoot them with a .22 caliber gun to begin with?

The facts are:

1. The chokehold is illegal to use
2. Eric may have been selling loosies and deserved a fair booking/trial - as shortly before his death he outright denied he was selling cigarettes
3. Pantaloneo has a history of committing police brutality and should be fired.
