As I told you in other thread , nycha has a lot of crime but many places without nycha have high crime also . None of the murders happened close to a nycha development, the rape I mentioned happened few blocks from one but that perp could be from anywhere around that area . I was walking in that direction on south road the girl did recently and it was pretty creepy even during daytime with cars passing , I could only imagine at 2:30 am smh . I know she grown in her 20s and stuff but I’d tell my daughter not to walk that way id pick her up or make her take a Uber . So sad

Silly logic. NYCHA was the pinnacle of public housing from its inception up to the 1960s. At one point it did work when more middle class families lived there.

Maybe. Maybe not. But the next night, there were two incidents of a shooting somewhere in B'klyn. I saw the video. Scary stuff. Maybe that's why more and more shootings are getting more coverage now than in the past due to the prevalence of available video being shown around. And that gets the attention.

It doesn't happen that way. These things don't occur uniformly over the course of time. There will be days when there are multiple homicides and there will be days where there are none.
