It’s sad that she’s politicized her position, a position she clearly can no longer properly function in. She should do the right thing and retire but she never will. Not to mention, either by her retirement or death, if Trump gets to replace her, there will likely be a civil war.
I wish they could be forced to retire. John McCain was another one that should have been forced to retire.
If she doesn't retire the right gets their ways in SCOTUS. She's just holding onto a seat in name atm. If Trump wins re-election then she'll probably resign as she'll likely not outlast Trump. I personally don't think Biden can beat Trump. He is one blunder away from ridicule always. He doesn't have any new ideas and constantly parrot ideas from other people.
I hate that our country has become so divided and the Supreme Court appointees have become just another way for any president to extend his reach into the Judicial Branch of the government.
My prediction is the Democratic establishment machine puts Biden as the candidate and Trump sweeps him in the election. Gisnburg either passes or retires and the GOP swings SCOTUS to the right. Democrats meanwhile retake both houses. The next 4 years will see nothing done except rage, posturing, and the occasional executive order.

I am guessing her cancer metastasized and she is not getting chemo due to her age.
She should've just retired during Obama presidency or something. I kind of feel bad for the woman as she now wouldn't get to have any time for herself and is stuck being on the job basically until her death.

She may as well retire now if she doesn't expect to survive until at least January, 2021
