I realized that unlike other civil exams, like Staff Analyst/ Trainee, HCI is not spoken of anywhere in google. How long does it take for the list to established? How hard was the exam for you and how much did you guys get?

7/10 hardness, easier than SAT
60/70

The idea is kind of the same, but more people are taking the Staff Analyst series exam because of its career path.

The questions might be easier, but I believe it is all the same, is all about reading and math. Not all that difficult.

Only the NYC HHC Hospital is calling from this list. Even with a shorter list of eligibles, not many will be called from the list. The staff analyst title is used by almost every city agency....more people will be appointed positions from that title despite more people being on that list

Most of the people that fill HCI, are clericals that already work for HHC. Many clerical get into HCI as provisional, so as long as they pass the exam when it comes out, they get to keep the post.

The list probably moves extremely slow for that reason, and its not the most desirable position.

I took the exam and got 63 out of 70. How many people are currently employed as HCI’s?

Hi everyone,

I just got a Hiring Pool Notice yesterday, did anyone get a notice as well? I've never been called for a hiring pool before so this is all new to me. Any tips to make it go smoothly would be great.

I score a 53/70 if anyone was wondering what I scored.

Hi,

No statistics how many people employed in HCI position. But if you passed they will call you.
