I have not used the Sheridan in a few years and this week I used it and to my surprise several new affordable housing pre fab buildings have gone up. Those type of buildings are modern and offer nice amenities inside even though the exterior is bland. Anyone familiar with the new construction? Has it improved the area ?

They're knocking down the whole expressway and turning it into another Queens Blvd clone.

It has caused nothing but a headache when driving over there especially when the lane splits the merges as new drivers get confused thinking the right split is an exit. But they are going to tear that whole thing down and like the above said, turn it into another Queens Bvld.

Check out the renderings, they will add allot of greenway to allow residents access to the Bronx river but who wants to go there as there is nothing there to see or do.

I remember applying to those buildings when they were going up. Got denied due to being over the AMI...SMH/
