On Aug 31 I moved out of an apartment that I have been living in since 2016. My landlord hasn't give me my security deposit back yet...and hasn't even asked for forwarding address. Does anyone know if the new rent reform law of 2019 (that states all security deposits have to be itemized and returned by 14 days) goes into effect for ALL rentals? Or is it just rentals that were after the laws started in July???
I know mylandlord is going to try and keep as much of my deposit as possible so I would love to present them with this law asap.
