Great quiet area, with a lovely park and nature trail. No close subway. You have shops, supermarkets around and the area still has its convieniences. If you want quiet, low crime you will be pleased.

Canít agree.

Theres a few small quite enclaves throughout Brooklyn itself. South Brooklyn isnít known for being quiet though.

5-10mins from Marina park you have plenty of action, Utica Ave, Emmons ave, neighboring Flatbush neighborhood and Downtown BK is only 20mins away.

What are you talking about? You clearly don't have a clue. I am born and raised in NYC, not some guy from the Midwest somewhere.

I personally prefer Bay Ridge, which has a subway line. Marine Park is nice but kinda dull, and also borders some not so great areas.

I'm very familiar with both neighborhoods. Bay Ridge is bigger with more bars, but there are also areas of Bay Ridge that are very residential.

Im talking about what I took the time to actually explain. What are you talking about?

You said most of South Brooklyn is quiet. Whats so quite about Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Gowanus, Red Hook, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Dumbo and Park Slope?

There are areas in almost every single neighborhood where its very residential. Thats a very general and in descriptive way to explain any knowledge about a given neighborhood.

Marine Park is in southern Brooklyn. It is not in South Brooklyn.

Agreed.

With that being said, whats so quite about Southern Brooklyn? It’s got action just like South Brooklyn. Just different demographics of people.
