Which minority groups?

Also, which social welfare programs are you speaking of?

Section 8? Food stamps?

Subsidized police and fire departments for their own communities?

I want more details and info.

Thanks.

Opinion:
It's called dumbing down!

There have been generations of immigrants over the last 200 years pouring into this Great Country.
Many bodies of cultural and religious factions clashing, punching it out and finally blending, unifying and assimilating
as a group into the American Way of Life despite the so many differences. We are called the MELTING POT for this reason!
You either sank or swam. Those that climbed out of the multicultural pool went onto boost the economy of this country as American Citizens. Those that drowned went back home or have remained and receiving stipends off the taxes of hard working Americans in the form of government handouts such as welfare housing and food stamps. Seems like the governing bodies of this city tried their darnedest to raise many to a higher level and standard but after seeing a continued flow of many a poor outcome decided it's cheaper to give out a few bucks and garner the Democratic Vote instead. After all we are a Sanctuary City. Why not be a dumb one at that too!
nuff said.........................for now........

Born and raised a New Yorker. No need for explanation.
Live here a few years. Attend your city, civic, and community board meetings and you'll figure it out.
Mean time,Enjoy the comforts of the N.J. beaches.

A lot of "minorities" do not even know that the benefits are doled out in a lopsided fashion to "minorities" by minorities while systematically blocking out any non-minorities. An example of this was today some young guy from an Arab country was talking with me about housing in NYC and he told me "Just get the government benefits like me. They will give you a very nice 2 bedroom apartment" and he said it all non-nonchalantly like this is a free housing service easily and immediately available to everyone. The comfort and ease within his dialog was off putting.

Some minorities have an inkling about how this system was hijacked to take advantage of USA born citizens, but some of them must think that everyone gets free handouts. The reality is that non-minorities (for a lack of better words here) are blocked out of their own benefits, jobs, and housing. It is such a mess.

What about the young Italians/Irish in Throggs Neck, Douglaston, Staten Island, Glendale?

They're still in NYC.

When the diversity training is basically, "Hey, you're White that means you're naturally bad, so you better take this course to teach you to curb your natural Whiteness, or you're fired!" it's a bad thing.

Substitute the words "white" and "whitness" with "black", "blackness", "latin" or, "latin-ness" and there would be riots, and in that case they would be 100% right.

Oh but, it's ok because the only people threatened with loss of a career for a circumstance of their birth is white people, and white people don't need jobs, they all have country clubs that'll feed them a lifetime of h'our d'oeurves (or however the hell it's spelled).

If you still think that kind of "diversity training" is ok, then you are either a hypocrite, an idiot, or both.

Also, NYC Board of Education Chancellor Richard Carranza is a racist piece of sub-human garbage!

^ Repped. Couldn't have said it better myself, although I would have spelled it "hors d'oeuvre."
