im majoring in political science and was wondering career possibilities with that...
i would love to be a representative or senator but that is a really hard job and they make like 120K...are there bonuses involved for them? I do know that their health care and retirement options are awesome...i think its full salary pension until you die after serving at least one 5 year term or something what are other high paying jobs that stem from political science majors...and should i switch to finance/accounting? |

No matter how much a job pays, if you don't LIKE it, it won't be worth it.
Poli Sci will let you do lots of different things, but you need to explore options. Poli Sci majors do everything. VERY few actually go into politics. |

Ace Rock, I don't really think your well informed on how young people make it in the city. First of all, many young professionals have roommates.
Also, young professionals do get bonuses too, for example, an out of college Junior Analyst at Citigroup will make about 40-50K plus bonuses, which is maxed out at 3x the salary. It is not only the high paid execs and associates who make the bonuses. I know about 10 or 12 young professionals living in Manhattan, and none of them come from wealthy families. They just know how to budget thier expenses so they can afford to live in the city |
