After a health scare, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is coming back to the campaign trail with a major push:

"Let me invite you all to a major rally we are having in Queens, New York," he said at Tuesday night's Democratic presidential primary debate in Ohio. "We are going to have a special guest."

That special guest he hinted at is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The Queens and Bronx congresswoman will be officially endorsing him for president this Saturday.

I came close to voting for him in 2016, but definitely won't vote for him in the next election.

He's a socialist and so is she. These people are intent on dismantling this country piece by piece.

Oh yes.

Bernie Sanders is intent on dismantling the country. Bernie Sanders of the "all Americans should have a roof over their head, a stable job, and healthcare. No American should go hungry, billionaires should pay their fair share, and we should stop endless wars" is so damn intent on destroying us.

Do you people even hear yourselves?

Except to carry out his socialist utopia fantasy dreams, he'd run this country and the largest economy in the history of the world into the ground.

It all sounds great until you examine his wack ideas on paper. For example, his medicare for all plan. Currently, most Americans get their healthcare through their employers. Under his plan, he would eliminate that and raise a tax (he says $10,000 but you know it'll be higher than that in reality).

The middle class makes up the bulk of the population so now the middle class will end up paying for the country's healthcare because you know the poor (and other country's poor who will flood the U.S. under the open border policies of the Democrats) won't pay anything and the rich are a small minority so they can only pay so much.

He's going to wreck the middle class of this country, the one segment that has made this country the richest and strongest in history and turn it into a new Venezuela.

Socialism usually gains foothold among the poor masses because it promises a utopia that can never be achieved. It would just make everyone poor and miserable. U.S.S.R, Maoist China, Cuba, Soviet Block Eastern Europe, Venezuela, etc.

Oh yes, let's repeat the same mistakes again.

A really wealthy guy who was a big CEO of a giant company once talked to me for a while and reminded me, if you give somebody a reward that feels good they will always be back for more. But if it involves any discomfort all the sudden they disappear.

Humans are easily led around by any immediate feel good reward.

Some politicians say hey I am going to make your life rich and easy for you and your entire family and none of you will ever need to worry about anything ever again because I have it covered and I've got your back, always have, and I always will.

politicians play you like a fool.

"American socialism will turn us into Venuzeula/China/USSR" posts show how little people understand that socialistic democracy is NOT the same as marxism. Turning into Denmark or Sweden more like... all that "free" stuff that you think Bernie is going to make the middle class pay for? You're already paying for it through ridiculous healthcare premiums and deductibles. It's amazing how many people vote against their own interests because they have beem bamboozled by the rich

100%, iammax.

I just ignore these comments, truly. As someone who actually holds dual U.S./Italian citizenship and spends a good portion of every year in Italy (and whose significant other is Dutch) I just let them go in one ear and out the other. It's truly ignorant and so sad at how they are being played like a fiddle by rich people who turn tax law to their favor and lobby for favorable government policies. Sigh.
