Pinkberry is on Spring. That's a must hit.
There are TONS of stores (Bloomingdales, Urban Outfitters, Express, TBT (I think that's it - not too sure.. It has somewhat decent clothes), Express, H&M, and many others). The view is also really nice. It's all cast iron buildings. (Well, most). Tons of stylish people. Also. Another hit - Get a cannoli from that italian pastry shop on Mulberry. ![]() |

The comedy cellar and the olive tree bar. The cellar has people you see on TV and movies. Go to their website and you can can get comped in. The only thing you have to pay to is the two drink min and tip. Fantastic show for about 12 to 15 bucks. The oilve tree is right above it. Great bar, good food and drinks. Cheap as well. Google the comedy cellar to set up your comp for a week night show. They are both just off the park in the village on McDougal.

To fit in you either have to be a Wall Streeter who makes $500,000 a year or more and can spend $2,000 or more on 'bottle service' at one of the trendy bars listed on citysearch, or a euro trash tourist.

Maybe the current credit crisis & upcoming recession (NO NYC IS NOT IMMUNE) will teach people that their is more to life that spending thousands on overpriced clothing at 18% interest but in NYC most people are superficial trend whores. |

The shirts range anywhere between $25 - $125. And, the jeans go anywhere from $50 - $300. (And, the other stuff, cardigans, pants, etcetc never go over 300). Granted, if you really want "high-end", you're going to need to walk into Saks or D&G, or some other high end store. It's really not that bad. Also - The hipsters in Soho are waay different than the mall rats in the suburbs and country states. (lol iowa). And, the recession is not going to slow anyone down. When you are making 500k+ a year, you are on a never ending roller coaster. What may be an upside down bear hug for the poor, it's nothing more than a pinch for the rich. Recession wise, that is. |

As Henna has stated in another thread, check NickL28's posting history. This is his modus operandi.
As she has stated: ignore him and move on. |
