Hi, I'm a 20 year old female looking to move into an apartment in Bed-Stuy on Lexington Ave between Classon and Franklin, and I'd be using the Classon Ave G stop. Generally, I'm home before midnight, usually by 10-11pm. I've been living in student housing between Fort Greene and Downtown Brooklyn for half a year, and before that lived in student housing in Chelsea, but I've heard some pretty rough things about Bed-Stuy and am concerned about safety. If anyone can help me out, that'd be super appreciated! Thanks!

Clinton Hill is gentrifying and I've stayed b/w Classon Ave and Clinton Washington stops. That being said getting home 10/11 every night you may want to look for another area. Rough projects are only 10 blocks away. The Clinton Washington Station can become desolate after 8pm.

You're gonna need roommates either way. So why not pick the safest area possible?
