It's a long shot - Pet sitters in the BX? (Pelham: neighborhood, baby sitter)

Even though I have been visiting these boards for over a year, this is my first post. Hopefully someone out there can point me in the right direction.

I have been all over the 'net looking for pet sitting services in the Bronx (Pelham Bay). So far I have found nothing. With the number of pet owners in my neighborhood, I can hardly believe there is no way to find a reliable petsitter around here. Short of boarding my pets or putting up a help wanted in Craigslist, what other options are there? (My usual sitter is out of town when I need him.)

I was just on sittercity.com to find a baby sitter for my daughter, and I noticed that they have pet sitting too. There is a small fee, though.
