Well I rarely go to Fordham for anything...so I forget how large it is. If I need something that I would go to Fordham to buy...I would rather just go to Mott Haven..same experience...just a heck of alot closer.

I dunno what the first 2 are....gonna have to google that one.

all together now.....

...the higher the number (0-100) the more "walkable"....

hence, 95 is a good number ....

I got a 74/100 for Pelham Parkway. Apparently, there's not a lot of movie theaters nearby, and that's part of what caused it to lose points. I don't go to theaters often, which is probably why I never noticed. It's low on bars, too. Everything else is right nearby, though.

86 here in Ridgewood. I'm pretty close to Fresh Pond Road, but I'm sure it would be higher if I was closer to Myrtle or Metropolitan.

I got a 98, and everything I need -- theaters both movie (22 screens!) and live (7 LC stages, the Beacon, Kaufman), subway, crosstown bus, supermarket, post office, pharmacy, dry cleaner, Central Park, libraries, schools, a dozen banks, and 47 stores selling cosmetics -- are within a three-minute walk. Where are my other two points? I've been cheated! Is it because the public elementary school is four blocks away? (There's one half-a block away, but I think it's selective.)
