Default lowest rents.

i want to move to NYC even though i've never been there (planning on going this summer)


where is the lowest rents in and around Manhattan?

Wash Hi (Washington Heights) has the lowest rent for the size of the rooms, and they are prewar buildings so the rooms are large

Just make sure you look WEST of Broadway in Washington Heights.

west of amsterdam below the hospital is just fine

close to subways, and nice hole in the restaurants on broadway, and laundry dry cleaners

It's not just below the hospital - above the hospital is FINE. I lived there and there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with it. In fact, it's NICER than below the hospital.
