I am looking for information about the Maimonides subsidized housing. Does anyone know approximate square footage for the apartments? I would also like to know the address for these apartments, so I could at least look at them on google. Maimonides has not given us very much information about the apartments, so I am wondering if it really is a good deal or not. Any information would be great. Thank you.

Nicole, are you going to be a resident?
They are hard to get(to many residents). Usually the seniors and 2nd years have them.
Also you should call housing and ask for the list and that hospital goes by lottery, ask when is the lottery. But trust me, the odds are against you,, but you should always try.
Now the hospital doesnt have a Residency Building(That is what I heard) like others in NYC(where almost all residents live) Maimonides has private contract with different and private apartments(that means that all apartments are different and in different location but near the hospital.)

I'm an incoming Maimo resident. From what I understand, they've got about 8 buildings within a five-block radius of the hospital. But the lottery already took place (didn't get selected) so I'm thinking nicolew did obtain a spot and is deciding whether to accept? In that case, I'm sorry I don't have more info.

If the rent is like 600 for a one bedroom,, you should take it... trust me take it.
Richmond U. hospital is 600 for one bedroom and 800 for a 2 bedroom(everything included, including electricity).

Emroyka,, are the 8 buildings part of the hospital or are private with a contract??
I was told they were private.
I am happy for both of you, Maimonides is a great hosp. small but great.
We went there for my son(he was born in Maimonides).
