Default Elvis Costello Concert Question
Is anyone planning on going to the Beacon Theater for these shows on either July 10 or 11? Just wondering what the venue's like cause I've never been. I'm going to both shows and am pretty excited. Thanks!

It's a pretty good, old-style theater. All seated. Sight lines are good. If you are on the floor however, and the people in the seats toward the front decide to stand up, you'll end up having to stand too... I saw Costello play there a couple years ago with the reformed Attractions. Not a bad show, though the Beacon isn't very 'rock and roll.' If he's playing that new 'blue' stuff, it'll be an appropriate venue.
