Default Williamsburg/ Greenpoint are they safe?????
my husband and I are looking to relocate to NYC and start a family. I have heard that Greenpoint and Williamsburg might be right up our alley. Can we get an apartment (either one bedroom with a den or a two bedroom) for $2,000/m? And if so, would it be in a safe area?? Safety is first priority for us.

DoomDan515 is on a distinguished road
Avoid the southern section of Williamsburg [11206], other then that, they are both safe areas. I highly recommend Greenpoint.
