No incident, just remorse against tossing away something I paid good money for that might sometime prove useful. I also was not sure how well it would work, and I was VERY hesitant on using it on myself to find out.

Oh well, Water over the dam.

The Adam Klotz incident got me to thinking about tasers and stun guns. I would rather be able to shoot a taser from a distance than have to get close enough with a stun gun.

Anyway, most of the tasers have to be reloaded after every burst, and the perp only stays down for 30 seconds. If a group of thugs are attacking you, you are still pretty much f-ed.

Several states, including NY and NJ do not allow either, but my state, GA, they are legal with no permit if you’re over 18 and not a felon.

I always get a good chuckle when gun-grabbers say things like, you don't need a pistol, use a taser... or you can have a musket, that's what they had in 1776. Except in cities like NY, you can't have those, either. In places like the UK, you can't even have a knife. Their goal is full disarmament.

I wouldn't want to shoot legally because the legal system punishes anyone with assets. It doesn't matter if you are fully licensed to conceal and carry. If you kill a criminal who attacks you, their family will have lawyers after you regardless of whatever the outcome of the investigation.

Always keep something on you. Mace, pepper spray, pinesol spray... spray and scram!!! Dont wait for police, and if they catch up to you, no jail time!!! Time for tit for tat on them streets.

A short rod, a string tied to a pad lock, defend yourself from the bad guys, if your life is in danger, dog eat dog.

What could be easier.

Except the odds of you getting first strike properly are slim to none.

All these sprays require fine motor skills to operate .which go out the window when you are attacked .

They almost never can be deployed .

Plus you need a proper wind , and good aim as it is only effective enough if in the eyes .

Few can operate those push buttons and orient it and aim it in the right wind direction…

Even armed off duty cops can’t usually get a firearm out in time when they run in to sudden situations that aren’t anticipated .

How we train is how we fight and no one trains with any of these things

I usually carry a box cutter in Manhattan. I read that a blade up to 4 inches is legal to carry.
