Soundview never had a prostitue problem like the point, you could see the point on hbo, that's not the view, what happen to the view, a brother join the army and come back, i hear a lot of bad things about the view, the view had disco king mario played there every sunday he had a orange suit on and a big orange hat. It was easter sunday, then him and bam played together at jhs 123, and bronx river center, everybody played at bronx river center, kool herc, red alert, dj breakout and dj baron. Flash played at monroe high school always showed up late. The price was five dollars a head, and the ladies did not get in free at flash parties, like they did when they went to bam and mario parties. Peace

Crisp444 That area of Soundview which is so "green and suburban" is Harding Park an area of private houses/bungalows. It's nicer than the rest of Soundview but that's really not saying much...

You also had Bronx River with their stick up kids, Bronxdale with their foolishness (There was these 2 cats they were brothers from Bronxdale that used to rob people up and down the area) and then you had Watson avenue east of morrison which was all tore up. I miss the good ole days...
I grew up on 1590 E 172nd St...which is right on the corner of Stratford and I agree when I was growing up there...that strip of Stratford was a very "hot" block...crime and cops galore. I remember as a kid when I used to get off the 6 train to walk to my house -- I always bypassed Stratford by either walking on Morrison to 172nd or on Boyton to 172nd (I preferred Boyton since it was very quiet most times). Oh the good ole days indeed lol.

Now living in my second place in Soundview, down by the water in Clasons Point. Quieter, but you still see ghetto people around. The roads absolutly SUCKKKKKKK(just got a car). Ive walked, biked and driven around most of Soundview. Mind your buisness and you will be fine. Even if you don't(im a hardhead) just keep it "light", meaning when someone says "Yo, who you talking too?(they all do) just keep it cool. Works like a charm, even a 3am in the morning.

Common sense goes a long way.
