If they are open tonight I will go there and check it out...who knows..it might be good! The sushi is limited right now...I will provide feedback tomorrow about the place and food.

Anyway...
This is a nice development and a good sign. Hopefully the area will continue to see new investments and continued improvement.

The place is actually pretty huge...at least it looks huge from the outside. I will probably try one (or a few!) of the martinis....I bet they will be pricey though (like $8)..which by city standards is cheap..by Mott Haven standards its pricey. Nonetheless....it is nice to have the option to go to a martini spot...girls love that.

Lol...I can't say that the area is gentrifying...but I can say options are improving, as is the quality of the options. Nonetheless...my main concern is that this lounge will be over run by the local "element"...I am hoping the owners can maintain some good sense and keep the place balanced and welcoming to all. Maybe I can take some pics with the cam too...

Guy, sounds like a good development for the area. There are very few dining options in Bedford Park. I'm jealous but I'd settle for supermarket sushi. I think I'll head over to C-town now.

Hmm...I dont think I would settle for bad/mediocre sushi..it has to be good..or else you cant eat it. What kind of stuff you have in bedford park? Mott haven actually has some decent selection and quite a few that are Zagat rated...we have Giovannis (G-Bar) for Italian (Zagat rated), we have Bruckner Bar and Grill for some upscale type food/mediterranean cuisine (Zagat Rated), Pio Pio which is Peruvian rotisserie in a very nice upscale setting (Zagat rated), Alexander's Cafe which has good American dishes and now a wine bar (coming soon), and now this Gallery Lounge place with Sushi....so all in all..I say Mott Haven is doing pretty darn good!
