As a driver in NYC, I understand and sympathzie with all of the rants and issues with parking on the street in our lovely city. Driving in this city is one thing, parking is entirely something else. It is a headache.

For people who don't drive or park in this city, they just don't understand.

Just as people are uncourteous and push and shove on the trains and buses, they do the same on the road or to park a vehicle on the street. And it's okay to rant or vent about it.

The one thing about this city that I would like to see retained, is that everyone is entitled to their opinion. What I'm seeing on this forum and in the city, is that we're all supposed to pay astronomical prices, take the poorly run mass transit, pay high tolls and taxes, and not complain. All to live in this fair city.

Come on people. Get a grip.

So I see you're just a wimp that let's someone take what rightly belongs to you. Probably one of these "polite" transplants we get in NY who dont thank you when you hold the door for them and who will step on you in the train without so much as an apology.

I didn't say I was going to beat the guy up, nor did I say I called him any adolescent names. Plus H was right upstairs so had the guy gotten crazy, I have back up LOL.

another of the ghetto lawyers chimes in, you're not even worth the effort to explain to you why ghetto street justice is not in anyone's best interests. then again when you have nothing to lose, it really doesn't matter if claims need to be settled, most of y'all are indigent anyway

I have been noticing alot more cars around my area also..whereas I used to park easily it is now far more difficult..with people moving back to the city it is happening across the board....best to not have a car at all and avoid the hassle I think....public transportation is the way to go!!!

No surprise. In your eyes all us city folk are ghetto.

Newsflash: you are not better than anyone because you live God knows where in some random, boring, middle america suburb. No one cares and nobody likes you here!!!

You claim to be all about being civil and normal, but you are the most abrasive person on this forum. You picked up where Hustla718 left off...

I'm not sure why you are making all sorts of assumptions about me. You are the one who called the guy a kindergartener for trying to save a spot. And somehow because I say that getting out of your car and confronting someone for acting like a kindergartener is in and of itself juvenile, you are leaping to the conclusion that I don't say thank you when someone holds a door open?

First, I don't even get your logic. It makes no sense. And second, even if there is some logic that is escaping me, it's stupid to make that assumption about me. I am not the one talking about my behavior confronting people - YOU are!
