East New York isn't as dense as some other bad areas but that's part of the problem. Some parts are extremely desolate, sketchy, and depressing as hell.

The bad areas of ENY are easily amongst the worst parts of the city IMO.

well density and crime really don't go hand in hand....there's plenty of dense areas in the city where crime is low, but i see your logic.

Oh, please, let 'em hold their graduation party in East New York. Maybe they'll learn something. If nothing else, that there's a world beyond the Upper East Side.

A party from 11pm to 4am in East New York? Is the planner a mental patient?

Chances are if you have to ask about East New York your either naive or a non native. However, being that I was born and raised in East NY, the stigma that is has can at times be overblown. Yes East NY is bad but if you just go about your business and dodge the stray bullets you will be fine.

I love when people say "just dodge the stray bullets" like it's a walk in the park and you're dodging mosquitoes.
