Lol...yes it is Morrisania...not much happening there except housing projects right now. Regarding Bedford Park, the Armory is within walking distance and it will be a great asset to the whole area, Kingsbridge, Fordham and Bedford Park...especially if they get a gourmet supermarket in there.
I like Bedford Park's value, transportation options, and diversity, as well as the amenities that are coming shortly. The bang for the buck is one of the best in the Bronx....a borough already known for affordability.

Yup...this is very true.
Highbridge, Morris Heights, University Heights, Tremont, Fordham, and Fordham-Bedford are carbon copies.
Even some areas of Kingsbridge Heights and Bedford Park.

That is true if you walk below 198th Street. The biggest downside of Bedford Park is parking. I would always prefer Mott Haven, Melrose, or Longwood in order to avoid the infamous parking problem.

Yes I have no parking problems in Mott Haven at all..and much of the new developments, affordable housing or otherwise, have parking onsite..which helps keep plenty of parking for me!

Don't forget the easy subway access and great retail along 3rd Av-149th St as well as 138th between Alexander and Cypress.

I don't think I heard anyone else (except Hustla) refer to the neighborhood below Bedford Park as Fordham-Bedford. Everyone seems to call it Fordham.
Thanks for the link, Luchador. I hadn't seen that.
