stang119 is on a distinguished road
Theatres are now only being built with stadium seating. They can actually get more auditoriums in that way (stacked like dominos). Don't blame the Bronx for the lousy theatre experience. Most neighborhood theatres have that problem. I am sick and tried of the Bronx being a euphamism for everything lousy in a city. Maybe if parents took some responsiblity and taught their kids (and themselves) how to act in public places then maybe AMC or Regal wouldn't be so hesitant about building these centers. Instead of complaining about the terrible theatregoers, maybe look into the mirror and see where the actual problem is. And, yes, I live in the Bronx. I remember going to neighborhood theatres and not have to worry about some selfish jerks insisting on ruining it for everyone else.

Stang..nobody is saying anything about the Bronx specifically, it is across the board in most neighborhood theaters..but since the topic is about the Bronx we have also indicated it is tough to go to the movies around here due to kids being silly...thats what kids do. But if I go to any theater in the Bronx I go to Whitestone as it is not as easy/accessible so less people go = less problems.
