There's a chance that my husband may begin working in NYC in early 2009, in which case my daughter and I would join him in the city next summer. My daughter is currently a rising 7th grader at a well-regarded, highly academic private school in Philadelphia. My husband and I have researched schools in the city, and, while I know that acceptance rates are extremely low, our dream school for our daughter would be either Dalton, Trinity or Horace Mann. I know that any one of these schools would be an excellent choice with top-notch academics, extra-curricular activities, faculty and facilities. However, I feel that I don't know much about the cultures of these schools - information about the unique "feel" of each school and how it compares to that of the others. Any input would be extremely helpful. Thank you!!
