He was a Gambino Capo with his hands in construction. The Gambino are still rolling in it.
Mr Zito owns a contruction company... Would that mean he is a Soldiers or just connected...

Branching off from the poster above, do you believe that there still is a large mafia presence on Long Island as there was in years past, where do most of the mobsters of today live? And when did they lose control over Little Italy in Manhattan or is there still a presence there today?

I doubt there is any irish gang presence in Hells Kitchen unless you count the wanna-be gangsta trustafarians who probably have some partial irish descent

But Barnes and Lucas was a long time ago, what about now

there are many new street gangs of black, and hispanic groups

How do they get along

The Nafia could be using his business for their own purposes, giving Mr Zito a yearly or monthly payoff for his cooperation. He is connected.

The big corporations took over Vegas, people like Bransons Virgin and Hefners Playboy. The Mob are still in Vegas, making some money, but less then $1million a year. Charles Panarella was a Capo there overseeing bookmaking, loansharking and theft.

Are there any Mafias in any of the five boroughs? And if so, are they still a force? Like do they commit alot of murders and crime?

I'm not sure about Long Island, but the Mob today live in New York and in surrounding areas, such as Gambino Acting Boss, Arnold Squitieri, he lived in New Jersey. The Bonannos still have a part of Little Italy, but the Albanians have slowly took over.
