The only gay Mafia thing I have seen is John D'Amato and that was in New Jersey.

Getting whacked means getting murdered.

There was a crime family affiliated incident that occurred in front of my house in the late 80's. Someone fired bombed the car in front of my basement apt. It was on 60th street off 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst, brooklyn. My landlord was affiliated with a Sicilian Organization and it was his car that was fire bombed.
It was pretty scary for an 8 year old, cause the explosion was only about 5-6 feet from my front door.
After the incident he was put on house arrest for 1 year. He had a nice family and they would baby sit me often. After the year was up he and his family moved to Switzerland.

Do you know anything about this incident or what crime family it might have been affiliated with?

1986 - Frank DeCiccio was carbombed to death. He was Gotti's man in the Gambino Family. Bensonhurst is a Gambino stronghold and thats where Michael "Mikey Scars" DiLeonardo was born in 1955.
