as a side note, i know on the A train they changed the name of Broadway-East New York station to Broadway Junction station, to be uniform with the J/Z and L lines, because they were always named Broadway Junction. But I still say Broadway-East New York.
I remember the J/Z and L lines' station being called Broadway-Eastern Parkway.

I think it was the J/Z that was originally Broadway-Eastern Parkway. If my memory serves me correct, only the L train station was always called Broadway Junction

5th, lenox, 7th, St. Nich, 8th (order of St. Nich, 7th and 8th varies between about 113th and 130th. There are some Harlem people that don't know that), Manhattan ave (aka money ave in the hood), Morningside. This is how my people would describe their avenues to this day.
