LOL, yeah obviously I don't and apparently you are intrigued with my blogs.
Who else do you stalk??? lol

not intrigued. Sick of your mis-information and trying to keep this board a place where people will come for good information and not crap.

Show me the borders of Jackson Heights, and show me where the Indian population resides, and then you can claim you have facts.
Come to Northern Blvd., Roosevelt Ave., any block above 80s, any block in the lower aves. which extends from 35th all the way past the GCP and show me the Indians. The fact of the matter is, the neighborhood is predominantly Hispanic, and there's only a small pocket of Indians around 75th and 74th street. Calling the entire neighborhood India is a ridiculous notion.

I was in Jackson Heights yesterday and saw people of all ethnicities. I think the India thing is incredibly overblown - the Indian section of 74th St is ONE block. I've seen more sari shops grouped together in midtown Manhattan.

There are some nice areas in Southeast Queens, Queens Village, Cambria Heights, Springfield Gardens, They have mostly single family and two family homes in that area. I am sure there are within your rental range. It has access to Manhattan via the L.I.R.R.

I live close to Jackson Heights, and I teach there. So I am there often, and I second that it is predominately Latino, with a couple blocks that are Indian. I can see this to by my school population which is mostly Latino. Of course, we get kids from Corona, East Elmhurst, and Jackson Heights, but still JH is predominately Latino. By the way, I love Jackson Heights!!

Forest Hills is a nice neighborhood. There are plenty of Indian expatriates in Queens and Nassau counties, so you will not be far from other Indians.

Depends what's important to you. If you want an easy commute to Manhattan look along the G, R, N, E, F, 7 lines. Places like Astoria, Sunnyside, Elmhurst, LIC, Jackson Heights, Woodside are almost as packed as Manhattan. Williamsburg, Brooklyn is similar but less dense with nice places near the river. Glendale, Middle Village, Fresh Meadows, Forest Hills are more suburbanish. South Queens is a longer hike and pretty sketchy in places. Bayside, Douglaston are expensive and look it.
