Moving to Queens
Hello everyone:
I will be moving to queens in the next couple of weeks but I do not know anything about the area. Which are the good neighborhoods? I want it to be a midpoint between the city and queens college. Any suggestions

Hey! You're going to Queens College? I go there too! You might want to check in Woodside or Jackson Heights. Do you have a budget?

Yes I do. I have been looking at craigslist and other postings and seeing around $800 for studio w utilities. Just want to make sure I'm not just viewing the bad side of town

If you're following the 7 train line, since that's what you'll need to get to Main Street for the bus transfer, then you should be fine.. the only areas that some might consider sketchy would be Corona, and parts of LIC near the 7 aren't exactly the nicest either.
