A lot of people constantly harp about how awesome NYC nightlife is and how the environment is really electric. In my visits to the city, I've found the nightlife to be mediocre at best. I've been to all the spots that are considered "hot," like rose bar, bungalow 8, 1OAK, socialista, goldbar, tenjune, etc. They're decent, but they definitely don't match the hype. The women are incredibly pretentious but aren't even that attractive, mainly anorexic chicks who want to become models. Chicago's nightlife scene and quality of women are far better than what NYC offers.

Somehow you're coming to all these conclusions about NYC after never living here. Makes no sense to me. That's like a little kid saying they don't like a vegetable when they never even tried it. Your mannerisms are pretty immature.

My theory:
He's from Chicago but lives here -sort of ... in NJ to be exact. Made a bunch of bad investments a few years ago (despite degree in Finance), is super pissed off that his friends and contemporaries made lots of money in the NYC real estate market in the hot first few years of the 2000s.... and is trying singlehandedly to make the RE market in NYC crash to **** off his "friends" and make his net worth go up in comparison to theirs.

I actually think this dude is hilarious LMFAO. He gets everyone so pissed off. He's a riot. I don't think I agree with what he is saying all the time..but I see that he is doing it to annoy the **** out of people in NY and they're all falling for it.
