The sad part is that there were people celebrating here in Pittsburgh setting fires and stuff, for some strange reason. Most of it was was in Oakland around the universities, so hopefully they were just students here from the other side of the state.

back to the original convo, Philly's downtown is really quiet. Should bars stay open til 4 instead? The public transportation in New York is just so much more frequent (esp. late at night) that all kinds of people can come into manhattan and enjoy a night out w/o having to worry about getting home. Unfortunately thats just not the case in philly.

New York is just a bigger more diverse city. They have 8 million people to attend to. And it seems like some of those 8 million people are starting to spill down the jersey turnpike to philly.

It wasnt quiet last week.
