LOL...my trainers have always used "aerobics" in the umbrella sense, since I have never done step aerobics in my life. That just brings back flashbacks of the 1980s and legwarmers and headbands!

LOL Step is fun! I used to do it about 7 years ago every week. But it really has gone by the wayside these days. I dont think anyone does it anymore. By the time I started going to the gym, in 1993, no one was wearing those crazy 80's exercise clothes. That would've been funny.

6 days a week? hhhmmm - Something is amiss - How intensive are these workouts? Are people disobeying one of the most fundamental requirements of working out/fitness aka REST?. No surprise most are down/out after a month or so due to "diminishing returns".
I dare anyone to do MY 4 day/week routine for two weeks. Don't worry, I'll provide crutches....

I bet I could do your 4 day week routine (lifting lighter weights of course) no crutches needed.

In order to model his workout, you'd have to use whatever type of weights he uses, just minimized to account for your smaller size. So if he's using a weight that's heavy enough that he can only do 8 reps, you would need to also find a weight that is heavy enough to only manage 8 reps.
Post your workout for us! I am frankly bored with mine.
Despite my being a proponent of heavy weights for ladies yesterday I did a light weight work-out with lots of reps. For example, 50 reps of chest presses with the 40 lb bar, 50 reps with the lat pull down set on 50 lbs. That was a fun variation.. Now hopefully I will get my lazy azz over there again today..

lol....okay I guess I am a wimp b/c I could not do 50 continuous chest presses with a 40 pound bar.
I would do more like 3 or 4 sets of 12 reps each with a 30 or 40lb bar.
The lat pull down thing I do either 40 or 50 lbs,3 or 4 sets of 10 or 12 reps each.
I go to the gym on a bad week 3 times, most weeks 4 or 5 times, and some weeks 6 times.
I do 30 to 40min cardio and 15 to 30 mins of weights, just depends on the day.
But no I could never model bx718's rountine if I have to lift the same amount of weight as he does. lol.. I might need crutches if I did that.

Rudbeckia, I didn't mean that you have to use the same weights as bx718. Rather, you would use the same "heaviness". So if you can only do 10 reps of an exercise with 10 lbs, and he can do only 10 reps of the same exercise with 30 lbs, you are doing the same work-out.
Can I recommend just trying out a variation of your routine, which is do 2 sets of 12 or 15 going as heavy as you can go. With what your lifting now, try 60 lbs on the lat pull down and 25 lb dumbells in each hand for your chest press. See how much quicker you achieve the same goals you have now by just doing 2 sets a bit heavier.
