Default Grand Concourse or Harlem

Which would be a better option to live at? I'm looking to live in a nice safe enviornment and neighborhood, that has a alot of things to be seen and done and that is walking distant to the subway.

Well if you can afford Harlem, then I will recommend it. But if you want more space for less, then the Grand Concourse. I guess been on the avenue itself is nicer. But for the Grand Concourse ultimate, Bedford Park is a very recommendable neighborhood.

I would say it depends on how much you wanna spend, and where in Harlem vs where in grand Concourse. we need more info.

I'd say 110th street.. but that isn't even considered Harlem, is it? Isn't that Morningside Heights?

110th street is real broad. You have to give an avenue. There is essentially three different areas of 110th, but in reference to your question anywhere on 110th is better than that area of GC.

If you want something affordable, stick with the Concourse. Around the Downtown area or the Bedford Park area. The apartments will be nothing more upscale like the ones on 110 st but the Concourse will undoubtatly be cheaper

It depends where. You would choose the Grand Concourse near the Courthouse over the 130's and 140's Lennox avenue but you would choose the Mt Morris area over 170's-180's Grand Concourse.

Be specific.

West 110th Street aka Cathedral Parkway aka Central Park North? I think it's pretty safe for its entire length. That entire area below 125 and west of 5th is looking more and more cleaned up every day. And obviously being right on Central Park (or really close to it if you're over west) is a huge plus.
