Dear Mr. Murphy:

This is in response to an e-mail you sent inquiring about extending the list for sanitation worker. Unfortunately we do not have any information on the list being extended at this time.

I won't bother emailing the mayor since he lives in another world. He doesn't even know we exist. Us 6063 list members are like ghosts to him. As somebody from the outside my feeling is that nothing is going to happen until it comes close to contract time(Sept 20,2011).

Still got about year and a half .. Haven't heard anything about fdny either.... Wouldent worry about it...

wednesday June 16th, downtown there is a big rally. All sanitation workers are being asked to attend. Lots of unions going to be there including the teachers union. expected turnout is 100,000+.

They are talking about laying off 2,500 men. It sounds rediculous, but that's the rumor. We need to attend the rally on the 16th.

That is what the Queens West Business Agent keeps telling us. I'm sure it's not true, but that what he keeps preaching to us.
