anyone remember ....... farmer grey or farmer alfalfa , black and white old cartoons with only music playing, cats and mice doing crazy things. New York channels had them on at 6 or 7 am, i was a real little tyke then. Saturday; My friend Flicker,Sky King, Circus Boy,Wonderama.

'The Sandy Becker Show' with the Professor, Norton Nork, Hambone, etc....He used to bring his dog, Schatze, on the show, as well.

No, it was FIRST a book, then a movie (with Roddy McDowell), then a television series, THEN it was a remade movie.

Yikes! That Roddy McDowell "My Friend Flika" was probably my first view of the Rocky Mountains, and the desire to live there haunted me for decades until I nested in northwestern Montana...
