i remember 15 cent pizza and my dad going CAN YOU BELIEVE IT,THEY RAISED PIZZA TO .20. IM NEVER BUYING PIZZA THERE AGAIN!

When they raised the subway fare from five to ten cents in 1953 (it hadn't changed since the end of the 1880s) there was screaming and yelling like the end of the world! Imagine paying the double fare and then going in for a slice of pizza!

I miss the bus and train passes. I also remember when the bleacher seats in Yankee Stadium was $1.50

fresh fish and real chinese cuisine, the whole ball of wax

You can still do all those things today. The D-train has changed a little over the years.

How we used to go to Rockefeller plaza every Christmas and laugh at the skaters
in the ice rink fall,
until we both fell ourselves, WTC mall
anywhere between 40th and 7th Ave, to 76th just walking and Central Park West and South
