My father was a loyal Brooklyn Dodger fan in his heart until the day he died. I have some idea how it must've been for him when the Dodgers (finally!) winning the World Series in 1955, because I remember how it felt when the Mets did the inconceivable and became champions in 1969. Anyone who was in New York City at the time--and a Mets fan--will carry that memory around for the rest of their life!

I remember when there was a milk machine on the corner and a quart of milk was 25 cents. I also remember when the cent symbol used to be on the keyboard!

Anyone remember Tommy Seven?
East Side, West Side
All around the town
The kids love Tommy Seven
He's New York's favorite clown...
You can tell I was born the day before yesterday, right?

Tommy Seven doesn't ring a bell Fred. What year was he popular? Was he on TV? I remember Bozo the clown.

It was a local production, several years before Bozo. I was quite young when Tommy Seven was on TV in New York. This must've been in the very early 1960s. And I doubt he was on the air for more than a season or two. Why that show should've stuck in my mind for all these years, I couldn't tell you. But I do remember Tommy--he wore a rubber ball for a nose.

I think you're both right . Creature Features was on channel 5 and Chiller Theater (the hand with the 6 fingers coming out of the swamp) was on Channel 11.
