The school to which you refer sounds like a place where you buy a degree. I would stay far away.
More affordable options for you in NYC might include Pace University and The New School. You might also look into whether your own schools in Italy have any relationships with schools in NYC. Sometimes you can (a) get into a program, and (b) do so far more cheaply by enrolling in some sort of study abroad program sponsored by your Italian university.

I'm a little leery of advice posted by someone who joins for, apparently, the sole purpose of recommending a particular school.

Indeed. I always wonder about people who sign on/make a single appearance touting or advocating a product and are never seen again. Then again, it may be that such individuals have an undying fervor to share an insight to the world of which only they have privy.

Have you tried looking into the SUNY school's for a master's in psychology? They are cheeper than Ivy League school such as NYU.... SUNY schools are state university. The European School of Economics is a great school but only for business not psychology.

Whose opinion is this? I've never heard of this organization, and I spent eons in academia.

If this school is not accredited, don't go. The person who said that employers do not look at accreditation is mistaken. Especially if you are pursuing psychology, it will be extremely detrimental to you as you will not be eligible to obtain any kinds of licenses without the degree from an accredited school.
I agree, try the CUNY system. You can take grad courses without applying to a degree program as long as you have a BA/BS. Best of luck

I strongly suspect that a school touting the grand name "European School of Economics" is trying to attract unwitting students who might have heard of the London School of Economics and its distinction.

Just so you know: NYU isn't in the Ivy League.

My friend works at the European School of Economics and they are really good in what they are doing. It's a great place to study, to expand your vision and to get an international education.
