Need transit info from Elmont to Kew Gardens (Valley Stream, Floral Park: bus, park)

I need some transit info using the bus/subway system or the LIRR....How do I get from Elmont (hempstead turnpike area in Nassau) to Kew Gardens in Queens?

Also, does anyone know how long the trip would take appx?

Google Maps is your friend. Click on get directions, type in starting point and destination, and select the public transit option.

You could also go to MTA's website to get scheduling information on the LIRR into Queens.

easy Bus from Elmont stop 20-Stop 17 to Jamaica. Take e Parsons in Jamaica or F 179st and Hillside Ave to Kew Gardens. You will be on Queens blvd in Kew Gardens. Or take lirr from Floral Park or Valley Stream on stop after Jamaica.
