Take at least half the people out; too crowded.

I don't live there, but based on my recent vacation, I'd say "improve the traffic flow". Somehow.

Members: the topic of this thread is what you'd change about New York, not the legacy of Robert Moses. Please keep it on topic. Start a Robert Moses thread if you wish, but those posts don't belong here.

Thank you.

Stop the motor vehicle WAR that goes on everyday all day long within the 5 boro's of hell.... Stop the explosion of popluation that is so rampent there is no were to walk, no where to drive, and no where to think, but yet we just keep letting in more, and more of these two legged roach's which reproduce like roach's. ELIMINATE ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE 5 BORO"S and everything will be just fine....

i would end my own life to be the first one to go also, so don't say I talk ****... If I knew that %100 of human life would be wiped off the map and I had to be first, well then, I"d defenatly be glad to go first.... My children and grandchildren will thank me for it.... I can't even imagine how disastorous it will be for them to have to travel into NY for business or for any reason for that matter in the next 20 years.... NIGHTMARE!!!! 5 boro's is hell.... almost perfect hell.... if its not raoch's its bedbugs, if its not mice its rats, and if its not 6 or 4 legged, its 2 legged... RENT SHOULD BE FREE and the Landlords should be strung up by there feet and left to rot.

i would make the subways free but charge for using the staten island ferry and if there's a deficit i'd cut the salaries of the fat cats in local and state offices who don't earn ther keep.

Gotta put two....

1. Invoke HOV in Manhattan from 9-5 (out of the Transit strike came a good idea!). There are two many cars in Manhattan, and if you want to drive, you must have at least 4 to a car! That may be the best alternative to congestion pricing! And 24-hour HOV in the Times Square 'box' is a must!

2. Implement light rail systems in the boroughs outer edges, such as via...
a. Flatbush Ave, from the Junction (Nostrand Ave) to Kings Plaza, Brooklyn.
b. Tremont Ave from Westchester Square to the end of Throggs Neck, Bronx
c. Either along Jamaica Ave or Archer, from Sutphin Bld (Jamaica Station) on out, in Queens!
d. Oh, and on 2nd Avenue, as a cheaper alternative to the Subway (I was once a proponent of the 2nd Av Subway, but I don't know when that thing will be built!).
