Default What does everyone do for a living?

You should start this thread by indicating what YOU do for a living.

Hi sjcassin. I noticed that you've started quite a few threads from over there in England on a variety of topics including household bills, projects, value of money compared to England, payroll taxes, nursing jobs, where do people live, etc.

Hopefully all the info gathered will help you evaluate whether to make that all important decision to migrate to our shores.

Regarding this thread, I am an accountant and writer. Presently I am an in-house accountant and self-employed professional writer.

Cheers!

Apologies if it is getting a little tedious - I just like to research so I can make an informative decision on things

Default Currrent and previous paid professions

Electrician, massage therapist, nuclear worker, sexual surrogate, underground miner, instrument technician, Watsu practitioner. Not your everyday, run-of-the-mill jobs. Most of them are quiet unusual.

No apologies needed. We're here to help. Hope you make the right decision.

There are indeed many individuals from Great Britain who do come here to live and seem to enjoy it but it's all an individual evaluation of what's best for you. So research, research, visit, visit...then do the right thing.

Good luck.

Industrialist, Philanthropist, Man About Town.

Seriously, I've been unemployed ever since I dropped out of law school. I've been living off a modest inheritance.

So I guess I do NOTHING for a living.
