I go to the Target in Flatbush sometimes, but you can find great stuff on Flatbush Avenue at the mom and pop shops. I try to support the small shops as much as possible cuz they are dieing out in New York City.

Ya'll are great...thanks for the info.....it is so helpful to get a locals perspective. I will definitely post as my other questions arrive. I don't mind supporting local mom and pop stores as well. Sometimes the mom and pops have things that you would not find anywhere else. I cannot wait to explore

You should go to SoHo. Im not sure if they have discount stores but i know they alot of stores with cool stuff

Pearl River on Broadway off Canal Street has awesome stuff. from rugs to kitchen stuff, to tons of decorative stuffff!
